MANILA – Granting of independence is not and never was the intent of talks between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in pursue the peace process in Mindanao.

GRP-CCCH calls MILF to respect ceasefire
 
 
MANILA The Government of the Republic of the Philippines–Coordinating Committee for the Cessation of Hostilities (GRP-CCCH) today urged the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) to uphold the ceasefire agreement to protect the gains of the peace process after fighting broke out anew between the military and MILF rebels in Central Mindanao.
